CMS Window Systems is in the running to win one of the construction industry’s most prestigious awards by being named a finalist in the 2019 Construction News Specialists Awards.
The company, which is a leading UK-wide manufacturer and installer of aluminium and PVC windows, doors and curtain walling, has been shortlisted for the award of ‘Specialist Contractor of the Year (turnover over £25m)’. This recognises building industry supply chain partners who demonstrate a clear strategy and vision and exceed their business objectives, with stand-out performance in terms of project delivery, innovation, sustainability, health and safety, employee wellbeing and workplace culture.
David Ritchie, CEO of CMS Window Systems says: “We are delighted to have made the finals in the Construction News Specialists Awards. It’s a testament to our long term business strategy and the great effort that our whole team puts in every day to deliver products and services of the highest quality. It’s a fantastic way to round off our most successful year to date.”
CMS Window Systems reaches the finals of the Construction News Specialists Awards hot on the heels of winning an internationally recognised award for environmental excellence, the Green World Award, and it follows national recognition in 2017 when it won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise. The company has grown to become a major supply chain partner to many of the UK’s leading main contractors, developers and local authorities, now employing more than 270 people at its manufacturing and recycling centres at Cumbernauld near Glasgow and Kirkcaldy in Fife.
The winners of the Construction News Specialists Awards will be announced on 27 March 2019 at a glamorous ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London where more than 1,000 of the industry elite will join together for a night of entertainment, celebration and networking.
